First Aid Level 1 & 2

BASIC LIFE SUPPORT (BLS) AND FIRST AID TRAINING LEVEL 1 AND LEVEL 2 COMBINED
Basic Life Support (BLS) is a specific set of procedures for preventing the condition of lifeless (non-breathing) casualties from worsening until they can access advanced care (usually an ambulance). Typically, this is CPR and how to treat choking.
It’s the correct first aid for the most serious conditions.
First aid is any medical care provided by a non-professional in an emergency. In the most serious cases, the correct first aid is Basic Life Support, but there are other cases which require other first aid.
For example, a first aider needs to know how to handle some trauma, for example, a broken leg, which is non-life-threatening (usually). This is outside of the scope of what Basic Life Support covers.
In some cases, like minor cuts, first aid is the only medical treatment that is needed.
